Shipping Policy

Please note that while we regularly check fertility, we do not guarantee egg viability once eggs have left our property as there are too many variables with shipping/handling and individual incubation practices

How we ensure the best possible hatch outcome

- Eggs are fresh (shipped out no older than 3-5 days old)

- Each egg is candled to ensure there are no cracks 

- Each egg is individually wrapped with love and care 

- We do our best to send out packages during weather appropriate dates and will not ship if there are foreseen extreme temperatures or weather conditions 

- Our FAQ section provides information on how best to handle and incubate shipped eggs

It is important to note that even the most perfectly packaged eggs still often have a lower hatch rate when shipped. Expect a hatch rate of 40-60% and plan your order accordingly.

As far as we are aware, you cannot insure packages containing eggs in them within Canada. If your package arrives late however when you have purchased a guaranteed delivery date, a claim can be submitted to the courier. The person to create the shipping label (typically us unless otherwise requested) is the one who needs to be the one to submit the claim.
