Our chicks come from ethically raised birds and are hatched in a clean, isolated environment away from the rest of our flock to ensure biosecurity and health.

Important Information:
• All chicks are sold straight run (unsexed) unless otherwise specified
• 3 chick minimum per order (can be mixed breeds)
• Chick delivery - Throughout the March-August we make monthly trips throughout the Sea-to-Sky and schedule at least one trip to BC Interior and Vancouver Island to deliver chick orders.
• Pickup available at our Pemberton farm by appointment
Rooster Return Program:
We understand that not everyone can keep roosters! We offer a rooster return program - contact us for details about returning unwanted roosters from our chicks.

Complete our waitlist form and pay a $10 deposit (applied to your final order)

We Set Eggs
For chick orders, we require a 50% deposit before we begin incubation (we create life on your behalf!)

We'll Contact You
When we're ready to fulfill your order, we'll reach out to confirm details and collect the remaining deposit

Hatch Day
Chicks hatch approximately 21 days after incubation begins

Pickup or Deliver
Chicks are ready for pickup 1-3 days after hatching. Delivery may be available depending on location.

Common Questions
Q: What does "straight run" mean?
A: Straight run means chicks are unsexed - you'll get a mix of males and females. We cannot guarantee ratios, but generally expect about 50/50.
Q: When will my order be ready?
A: We cannot guarantee timing. Our waitlist is fulfilled in order based on multiple variables including breeding season, hatch success, and breed availability. We'll contact you when we can fulfill your order.
Q: Can I choose specific chick colors or patterns?
A: For breeds with color varieties (like Ameraucanas), we'll do our best to accommodate preferences, but we cannot guarantee specific colors.
Q: What if I don't respond when you contact me?
A: If we reach out to confirm your order and don't receive a response in a reasonable timeframe (especially if you read our message), we'll move to the next person on the waitlist.
