Program Timeline
While the incubator does most of the work and doesn't require you to be present for a large portion of your program, many people enjoy to participate in specific milestone dates.
Day 1:
Setup & Start: Equipment is delivered and you are provided access to our online program. Incubator gets set up to begin warming and regulating for your eggs.
Days 1-7: Eggs are set and begin to develop. Learn all about early embryo development.
Day 10: Candling: Use your bright light and see developing embryos move around! This is always a highlight!
Days 10-18: Watch development continue. Learn about what's happening inside the eggs and patiently wait for your upcoming chicks.
Day 18: Lockdown: Incubator egg turner gets turned and humidity gets increased. Chicks are positioning for hatch.
Days 20-21: Hatch! The exciting moment! Watch chicks pip, zip, and emerge from their shells.
Days 21-25: Chicks move to the brooder. Learn about feeding, watering, and caring for your baby chicks. Lots of snuggle time.
Day 25-26: Program ends and we return to collect equipment or have you drop off depending on our arrangement. Chicks get ready to meet their new family (unless we have discussed in advance that you will be keeping them).

Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans change. However, our programs book back-to-back with little flexibility for rescheduling.
Cancellation Terms:
• 14+ days notice: Full refund
• 8-13 days notice: 50% fee (50% refunded)
• 7 days or less notice: 100% fee (no refund)
Why This Policy?
Significant time and effort goes into preparing each program - sourcing eggs, preparing equipment, coordinating schedules. Late cancellations mean:
- Lost revenue for our small farm
- Missed opportunities for others on our waitlist
- Wasted preparation time
We reserve the right to charge the remaining balance to your card on file for late cancellations.
Need to reschedule? Contact us as early as possible. We'll do our best to accommodate when we can.

Common Questions
Q: How long is the program?
A: 25-26 days total from setup to equipment pickup
Q: What if eggs don't hatch?
A: Hatching has natural variation. We provide extra eggs and source from proven breeding pens, but cannot guarantee specific numbers. Typically expect 60-90% hatch rate.
Q: Can we keep the chicks?
A: Yes! if discussed in advance (we must know this decision a minimum of 7 days before your program start date). If you are keeping the chicks we offer you the ability to pick your preferred breeds and charge for the hatching eggs.
Q: Do you deliver equipment?
A: Yes, within our service area (Pemberton, Whistler, Squamish, Pemberton Valley generally for a fee unless we have multiple orders in your specified area).
Q: What age group is this appropriate for?
A: All ages! We've had successful programs with preschoolers through high school. The experience scales to the age group.
Q: What if something goes wrong with the incubator?
A: We provide support throughout! Contact us immediately and we'll troubleshoot or provide replacement equipment if needed.
